What tool did Santa bring you?

Excited I got a 7in Makita Grinder. Holy Moly! That thing is heavy. I had no idea. I guess the other good news is that it will help me with my New Years resolution to get in better shape!

I find my big grinder is a less work on big jobs because it takes a lot less time. I find the same to be true for my chainsaw and backpack blower.

For only the third time in about seven years - ALL the family was together, today, in one place. Strange - all of us live within 30 miles of each other. Jobs, commitments, weather - I got to see my two great grand daughters today, for the third time. The VERY BEST gift Santa could ever bring me.

Having two little, beautiful blond girls call me great grandpa & run up and hug me - priceless, absolutely priceless. Far better than any tool I shall ever own.

You are right... priceless to have family around! I thought a tool thread would be less sappy.

We had all the kids together last night and it was a beautiful Christmas Eve with a wonderful dinner. We all sat around the table and told stories of we were young... regardless of how old the story teller was! So many fun(ny) memories and a few tears shed as well.

I've got a similar type of cutter (uses the same action) which I use exclusively for cutting fence wire.

Got a tool cabinet. This way I have a spot to lock up my over flow stuff that won't fit in my tool box. And set up a charging station for my cordless tools.

This is the first thing Craftsman that a I've gotten since I started boycotting sears 13 years ago over warranty hassles on there tools. Wife got me the cabinet from lowes.
