What to seal concrete patio with after pressure washing?

I'm going to pressure wash our concrete patio and want to seal it with something so that it stays cleaner looking longer. I figure it was easy to find a "concrete sealer" but am overwhelmed by the choices and brand names of the products that are out there. Has anyone sealed cleaned concrete with a product they liked and can suggest?

I can say that I've only used Brickform sealants from a concrete supply. It worked well. Originally for over our stamped patio that we made. I was told that it had more substance than say Thompsons sealer, so I also used it over our aggregate drive at the time. Left a nice, clean almost shine.

Yeah, try Thompson's Water Seal. Any masonry supply should have it.

Any idea how long Sealcrete coating should last outdoors in a concrete patio surface?

When we lived in Anchorage I used a concrete sealer on our very short - ~80 foot - driveway. It was purchased from the concrete company. Worked well but made the driveway pretty slick, to vehicles, when it rained. Kind of like water on top of ice.

Gonna depend, but it's the best one we sell. Comes in different sheens as well.

Hey - this discussion has caused me to learn something new today. "Stamped concrete". Never heard of such a thing. Had to look it up. And all this time I thought everybody just had a smooth 'ol finished concrete surface. I had this brain flash - folks stomping around on poured concrete - like they were stomping grapes.

Some times I wonder if I'm not too remote for, even, this rural living thread.

I've seen stamped concrete that I mistook for tile/rock. it was that good.

Local towns will pour a concrete sidewalk, trowel in some kind of red dust on the surface, and stamp a brick pattern into it. You have to look closely to tell it's not brick pavers.
