I'm in the market for a new tractor. The old 2N has served well, but I want a newer tractor and FEL. The Kioti CK25 has my interest, but I would like to compare it to other brands. What models from JD, Kubota, and New Holland are comparable to the CK25? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I plan to keep my current equipment, hog, BB, angle blade - all 5'. I want to get a rear finish mower with the new tractor.

Also, can anyone give any good dealer recommendations for the above brands in Central Oklahoma (OKC - Shawnee)?

My main drawback right now is lack of time. I'm not in a particularly big hurry to get a tractor, but I don't have a lot of time to look around - work and other commitments keep me pretty busy. So I'd like to have in hand a list of dealers and a list of tractors to compare. Any help to shorten the process would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to be out of town over the holiday, so don't think I'm ignoring you if I don't respond right away. This forum has been a great source of information already, but I hope some of you can help me save time in my search.

There aren't reallly good apples-to-apples comparisons between MOST brands and models in my estimate.

What you have to do in this case, is to find tractors of the same HP, AND frame size as many brands offer lighter, smaller-framed tractors in that range of HP, but they are by no means equivalent to the CK25.

I'm sure some will post suggestions as to what is "close," but there is no equal to. The one thing that I've always liked about Kioti is that they include the main loader valve and joystick along with other standard features that others often charge for. Keep that in mind while you shop, as you may have to pay extra on some brands for what Kioti is including. There are other brands that also include these.

Most of the 25HP machines that get close, are almost all much lighter. If you're going to be doing a lot of ground-engaging work, the extra weight will help you to take advantage of the available HP.
