This past Saturday, I got a chance to mow lawn for a friend of a friend. When I was done, I really did not have an idea of what to charge. I am using a BX 2200 with a 60" deck. I have no intention of trying to mow for profit often, just helping this guy out sometimes when his equipment is down or he gets behind on his work. I ended up charging him 20.00 an hour for 3 hours work. Is this a fair and reasonable rate? Am I working too cheap? I could not imagine doing it for any less. Thanks for your thoughts on this matter.
