While changing the oil and dislodging sticks from my L5030, I noticed this. Should it look like that?

It is back from the drain plugs in the center of the tractor.

Looks like the weep hole in the bell housing and the little jiggler thing got bent.:laughing:

Man that thing sure is exposed. Does it need to be replaced, I checked and it still "jiggles"?

If it still jiggles, I wouldn't mess with it, if it falls out you can get a cotter key about the same size diameter and spread it apart a little then squeeze it together and stick it in the hole, the tension will hold it in for you. A lot of tractors have cotter keys in that hole.

There's one of those that looks in about the same condition on my tractor also. Thanks a lot guys, now, every time I do an oil change, modesty will require that I avert my eyes. :eek:
