Tractor Sizing what size trailer should be used

/ what size trailer should be used #2
There are tons of threads already out there - if you go to the search function with "BX" and "Trailer" you should get plenty of hits. One of them is just a week old

But consensus seems to be, at least 16', tandem axle, with brakes. Heavy Ramps vs cheese grate (unless re-inforced)

I bought 18' landscape trailer (only $200 more than 16') rated payload 5000#(7K GVWR)

Good luck!

Like Nubota said. Also depends on what you're pulling it with. If you have weakly sprung vehicle, you'll want the lenght to help balance the load.

Dual axles for sure.. whatever yuo get. Probably not much cost savings on smaller than 16'.. IE.. 12' might get er squeezed on.. but hard to find a dually 12'.. etc. 16' lets you haul the tracor/loader, plus a rear implement.. and perhaps a mound of material to spread.. like wood chips or gravel.. etc..
