What size snow plow?

Well, instead of the 6-10" of snow predicted, we only got maybe 3". It's a very dry powdery snow and not enough to worry about plowing.

The funny thing is: We recently bought this place and still haven't fully moved yet as we're doing some renovations. The primary reason for the move is to get closer to the grandkids but one of the criteria when we were looking is that the wife wanted someplace that got some snow. Our current house is on the coast where it rarely snows, and the new one is 3 hours west and an hour west of the kids where it usually snows more. As stated, this storm only brought around 3", but the house on the coast is getting 10-12". Wife is watching it on the Nest cameras and wishing we where there this week.

The front bucket on my 55 horsepower tractor works pretty good for pushing snow in a straight line but I pretty much loose ability to steer while pushing a load of snow with bucket.
Pushing with my rear blade the steering works fine and I can push more snow with rear blade, my 9 foot Bison blade alone weighs over 1,400 pounds.

I take care of our wedding venue parking lot and our homes 1 mile drive with the plow setup I posted bottom of page 2. 84" plow and makes quick work of both.

My dealer recommended the STB1596 8 footer for my Kubota L6060. No issues at all. At full angle, it clears a path 12" wider than the tire tracks. Wouldn't have been the case with the 1584.
