Tire Selection What size R4's for Kubota L2350

Just bought a used Kubota L2350 and it needs new rear tires. My soil is sand and heavy clay. No serious AG work. Mostly using it for general chores, shredding and maybe some small food plot work. I have a LOT of wesatche and mesquite with some serious thorns. R1's can make terrible ruts. I am thinking about going to R4's and I'd like thoughts/opinions and need to know the tire size. R1's are 11.2-24's rear and 7-16's front. Can't find how those size #'s translate to R4 size's. Ideas? Suggestions?

You'll need to change the wheels to use the R4's. They are a much wider tire. Cost may become an issue for you then. I much prefer R4's over R1's, but I bought my tractor with them.

If your L2350 is 2 WD you can use any pair of R4 tires and rims that will fit your tractor bolt pattern. If 4WD then you have to use tires compatible with the front and rear gear ratios. Here is a list from another brand tractor that uses the same Ag tires so the corresponding R3 and R4 tires combos should work for you. You will need to buy both rims and tires
Ag front: 7x16
Ag rear: 11.2x24
Lawn/turf front: 25x8.5-14
Lawn/turf rear: 13.6x16
Industrial front: 27x8.5-15
Industrial rear: 15x19.5

Thank you for your response. This is what I have now Lawn/turf front: 25x8.5-14 Lawn/turf rear: 13.6x16 but it is hard to find the tires for the rear. I was wondering if someone else sells turf tires that have different numbers that would work on same turf rims!
