What size landscape rake for CK20?

I am clearing brush and need to clean up a few acres as well as prep for seeding ground cover. I'd like to know what size landscape rakes folks with CK20s have been using. I think KiotiJohn has a 4ft rake which seems small. Is a six footer too big? Will a 5ft rake when slanted cover the tire tread distance?

Also, under what circumstances are gauge wheels necessary or desirable?

I use a 6' without any problems.

I use a 6 footer. I have the wheels and find them helpful except when in transition from a slope to level ground.

I wish I had tried a 6 footer before I bought the 4', as you say, too small. The only caution I would have is on a steep slope to be extra careful not to go side to side with the extra weight, depending on whether or not it's a really heavy rake, it could pull you down the hill. Of course, we all only go up and down, and not side-to-side, right?

I don't have many steep slopes to worry about and I typically go up and down anyway but I will keep your warning in mind.
