What size hoses?

If all goes well in the morning I'm going to pick up a new 3 pt hitch logsplitter and I know it does'nt include the hydraulic hoses to attach it to my rear remotes I was wondering what size hoses to get3/8 or 1/2" and also if any of you might know what kind of or style of hydraulic remotes are on the LS made tractors ie Farmtrac, Montana, Mckormic all I know is that they are some style of quick connect but don't know the style or size any help would be appreciated.

If you have 3/8 QD's, then use 3/8 hose. You might remove one of the QD's on your remote, and take it with you to the hyd place, or read the data on the QD and order it.

Almost always the quick disconnects on our CUTs and Utility tractors take a 1/2" fitting like this. 3/8" hose routes easier, but 1/2" will flow a lot more.

Thank's for the reply guys my remotes are 1/2" so I picked up 1/2" hose and the remotes take the male ends from the link that you provided so I think I"ve got what I need.:thumbsup:
