AccuWeather if I'm traveling. It seems to be more reliably accurate than the others. At home, Weather Underground. It lets you upload from your personal weather station and will start including your data and history in the forecast. That is where the undergound part came from.

It seems to me that Weather Underground is one of the less inaccurate ones,
you can localize it in the drop down tab (light blue) under there name and actually pick local reporting stations for you local for the current conditions,

That's the program I use on my phone. The local reporting station I chose is 1.2 miles away and on the west edge of town. It closely matches my Davis Vantage Vue monitor.

I use WU and the localized NWS forecast. WU just feeds the nearest metro area, which is not a great match, however, WU as @ning wrote, here it also tends to be inaccurate in predictable ways for us.

All the best,

Peter

I watch “Pacific Northwest weather watch” on utube for weather in the Pacific North West.
We are in southern BC and find Micheal’s forecast to be very accurate. He also does a California forecast as well.
I also have a Tempest weather station that has a fairly good forecast feature. The radar map is very accurate for rainfall intensity and timing.

NOAA/NWS. They have the technology that other weather services access and use. When I used to do wildfire management, we would always get a NWS weather forecaster to come to fire camp and set up their equipment. I’ve worked with these people and know that they run their models and use real time atmospheric data to make their forecasts. Of course they sometimes miss the mark, but what other sources don’t.

I use the Bureau Of Meteorology website.

I can simply enter my postcode to bring up my 'local' BoM weather station, which is about 7 km away @ the aerodrome. It gives me a good future indication of what's coming my way.

I mostly use the Apple built in weather app.

Same for me. The NWS does offer the short daily forcasts, but if you sift through all the open doors on their site, you will find a wealth of information. I particularly like to use the "Forecast Discussion" link at the bottom of the local forecast to read in detail what's really coming up and also how much confidence the forecaster has in the data/models being viewed.

At least for KY, they also have a slide presentation up on the main office homepage for severe weather events and its timing that are constantly updated. Very helpful. I suspect a lot of other weather sources depend heavily on the NWS information...
