What should my CK20 RPMs be at idle?

I noticed today that my CK20 is idling at approximately 1050 rpm. This may be perfectly normal, and it could have been this way all along since I can't honestly recall ever paying attention to the idle speed, but it just seems a little high to me.

My CK20ST (gear drive) idles at 1000 rpm, don't know what the factory says it should be. The HST may be a little more due to the hydro.

My CK20 Gear also idles at about 10-11 hundred RPM. I haven't been able to use it for so long that I can't remember exactly. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

That's probably about the average idle speed, somewhere around 1000 should be fine. Just don't let it sit at idle too long without varying it occasionally as you want to keep the oil flow up. Long idles are tough on the engine.
