After 7 years of ownership, I upgraded the FEL on my Kubota L3200 to quick attach. Bought a set of Land Pride QA pallet forks and got a good deal on the Kubota QA 66" bucket for the L models. Should have spec'd the tractor this way when new, but that's another story.

I had originally been planning to convert my old 60" pin-on bucket to QA, but after getting a good deal on the new bucket, now I have an orphan . I don't know if there is any market for pin-on buckets but I'll probably try to sell it. Before I do, can anyone think of a reason to keep it or use it for something else? New, these buckets run for about $500 and I figure I'd ask $200-250 since it's in good shape. That's not a whole lot and these things are not really shippable. So before I go to the effort to find a local buyer for something with limited demand, I'm wondering if it has another use I am not thinking of, or some other sellable use (tractor or otherwise).

Might consider converting it to 3PH mount and can then be used for a different applications such as weight box, all purpose carrier etc. I found it useful, in conjunction with the FEL, for carrying material between locations far enough apart where you want to make the most of each trip without a dump trailer. A hydraulic top link for dumping the load would be a plus in that application.

My wife would want it as a raised garden bed container.

Fire pit or bbq? Maybe add some wheels and turn it into a trailer.

There's still a market but value is low due to limited fitment for the pin on. Before I bought the L I was looking for a cheap 60in bucket for my B, changing mounting points isn't and issue for me so something like that would work, but the price would have to be pretty low.

At $200 it should sell, just may take a little bit, looks to be in good shape.

Or convert it to SSQA and THEN sell it...

Convert it to SSQA. that is what I did with mine and now have it as a "beater bucket. The dig in the rocks, backtagging etc. bucket. Handy to have, and worth a whole lot more than it is now.

I'd hang onto it for a while. Suppose you might replace the tractor but could use the QA bits an another. (commonality may fit many sizes of FEL) Put the old stuff back on the machine for sale and if the conversion won't fit a next tractor sell the adapter and QA bucket as a package for someone whose it will? I'd ask $500 or more for that much and I bet it'd sell quicker than just a std bucket.
