What series do I have? Lots of Questions

Dewfpo, one little, but very visual, difference that you might add between the 'C' and 'D' series is that the fuel cap moved from passenger side on the C to driver's side on the D.

Hey Guys, Thanks for all the replies. Sorry I haven't posted this sooner but the season hit and just got busy.
I think we found the solution to our power /speed problem. We changed the main drive belt. The original one really didn't look to be worn, but we changed it anyway and it seemed to cure the problem instantly. Have been using it since the change with no probs.
Also found a manual on Ebay I think was 11.00. Helped a lot.
