what on earth does electricity cost near you?

Here's my bill, average of 0.18kwh. That's bad enough but the $19 a month for the base sucks. It just went up 80% about 6-8 months ago. I think the kwh rate is going up 2.5% in April.

I always look at the total resulting cost. In your case it looks like an average cost of 22.8 cents/kwh.
About the same as here

The electricity bill in my hometown is 0.52 RMB per kilowatt hour
.07 USD , not bad. What city ?
And can we see a picture of your tractor? Lovol sounds interesting. Not something we have available by me in Pennsylvania.

That's true if you use approximately the same amount. What really ticked me off was when they raised the rates awhile back everyone was up in arms. No one made a peep about the flat rate almost doubling. My garage bill now is around $50-$60 every two months. It was around <$35-$45.

Another thing to look at are add on fees. in VT, not only is the rate pretty high, but because of the Efficiency Vermont Program, that subsidizes all kinds of energy saving products, mainly through rebates, they add on a fee, based on your electricity use, to give away to those who apply for rebates. All part of them trying to be "green". They have a plan, and are "taxing" all of us to get there. They are after fossil fuels too, trying to add another tax on home heating oil, to force people to stop using it. All the do gooders, who have money, trying to force those who can't afford to switch, to switch.

My hometown is Laibin City, Guangxi, China

If you want to see more Chinese tractor video pictures, I think there will be many export versions on YouTube, and if you want to see the Chinese domestic version, you may need to enter Chinese to search

You can copy it to your browser and search, and you may be able to search for the domestic version of agricultural machinery in China

I call them Fairy-Tale Fees, and they are pretty much Everywhere.....

First Thought.... general Tax Grab, and it is that, but there is much more in-play. There is one graph in Epstein's book that sums it up well.... suffice to say, it comes down to making ALL forms of Energy much more expensive. If you haven't read it, I'd highly recommend that you do - well researched and presented.

Thank you for your welcome
Because my hometown is located in the south, most of them are planting sugarcane, but also corn and peanuts, and now it is popular to grow chili peppers, and paddy fields are generally planted with rice, and now most young people will go to Guangdong Province to work, so many places have changed to eucalyptus, on the land where sugarcane was originally planted :D
