It appears that some sellers are still holding to MSRP.

I'm sorry in this market that just isn't going to get my hard earned $.

For Implements what are some of the rebates/sales/offers coming through on?

Is it up to the buyer to "Haggle" now day's?? I hate Haggling, but if I have to to get anything but MSRP... well I guess that's what I'm going to have to do.

Anyone out there care to list the deals available?

Chipper 5-6"
Grader 5-6' (not just a tilt/slant blade.... I have that)
3pt Snow Blower 60"
3pt rockhound ??... (is there such thing?.... I need one as my garden is full of softball size rocks)

Thanks in advance!

my local dealer still sticks to MSRP, i drove 3hrs and saved $4000 on my tractor. I also have found that when i bought my box blade i got a better price at a small dealer than at a larger dealer. that saved me about $200 on the same blade at the larger dealer.

% off MSRP is a terrible way to find a good deal. Your best just to call around and see what prices you can find. As a dealer, we're not even aware what MSRP is unless we sit and specificly calculate it.

the manufacture sets MSRP . . . Manufactures Suggested Retail Price
the dealers can set their price where they like, be it higher or lower.
some manufactures have what they call MAP pricing which is Minimum advertised price. which means you can only advertise that price or higher but you can sell for a less price. and then there is MSP Minimum Selling Price. i dont think you will see that with tractors but Rolex watches will set a MSP so that dealers won't devalue their product buy selling them 5% above cost.

Isn't the MSRP dependent on the features/options on the tractor?

yes, lets stay that the base price of a tractor (were talking msrp) is 10k
and msrp on a loader is 4k and the cab is 3k and the extra set of remotes is 1k you now have a total msrp of 18k now the dealer can come off that msrp how ever he wants, a flat 10%, or 10% off the tractor and 15% off the loader cab and remote, or 10% off the tractor and msrp on the rest. they can do what ever they want so long as whoever is buying is happy with the end price.
one place that i looked at tractors came off the total tractor price about 12% but was sticking to MSRP for the bushog and boxblade. You just have to be informed before you go and make the best deal you can.

ok i went and got my invoice,

Base MSRP including selected tires$21,819.00 Factory Assembly$250.00 Grill Guard$269.00 Loader$3,933.00 Loader Bucket$649.00 Loader Quick Coupler$443.00 Total Configured Price of Model*$27,363.00
i paid 24k but that included the WRLong remote hydro. which is not listed in the above MSRP price as Kubota doesn't sell WRLONG but the dealer did.
so on my invoice the dealer has it broken out like this
MX5100DT (4wd) W/Grill guird $19000
LA844 Loader SS Quick attach Bucket and wrlong valve $4300
after that there is taxes and what not but as you can see the dealer priced the tractor in a way that looked good for him and me. . . and end the end i think we were both happy.

Yea. We don't look at MSRP and decide how much we want to discount that number. We look at dealer invoice and then calculate the myrid of costs, charges, discounts, trucking, setup, etc that go into pricing a tractor. None of them are based off MSRP.

MSRP is really a pointless mythical number thats not used for much of anything. I could not tell you the last time I added everthing up to find out what is was for a given tractor.

That might explain the price disparity between dealers.
