I have a hand pump I have used for adding fluids to things such as a differential on a truck. The fill hole is usually high and you can't get the bottle up there to dump it in. The hand pump I have was fairly inexpensive and worked well. It had a hose you put in the bottle and another you stuck in the fill hole. The problem is this pump stopped working after using it just a few times. Does anybody have a good solution to some kind of small pump to move fluids such as rear end grease?

I bought a pump at the parts store that screws into a gallon jug. Also got one for quart jugs. It's a pump like what you have on a lotion bottle. Press down and it springs back. Works great.

When I am done I pump diesel through it into my tractor to clean.

I need something with a hose on the end to be able to reach up and into the fill plug rear ends.

I bought something similar to what you need at Wal-Mart a while back. It screwed onto a quart bottle of diff fluid, and had a flexible hose attached to the end. I was able to turn the bottle most of the way upside down and squeeze to get all the fluid out. I can not, for the life of me, find the product on their website ... but it was with the funnels at our local wally world. If there's one close by, may be worth checking in to...

These have hoses. The hose is 18" long or so. I also have a lever pump on a 5 gallon jug of AW32 hydro fluid and one in a 5 gallon jug of 80W90 gear oil with 5' of hose on each for servicing all the tractor related items. Chris

Yeah, thanks for the photos, that's what I had in mind. I just need to find one now. The only kind of seen in the local stores is the kind of have which didn't last very long.

Autozone, Menards, Rural King all have some. The one I have still in the package came from Menards. It's for boat motors and I got it in the automotive section.

You can find the new one DP posted at Walmart in the boating section.
They sell them for adding lower unit oil on outboards and I/O's.
The lower units have to have the oil put in at the bottom hole until it comes out the top hole so you get a complete fill without air in it.
It will move heavy fluid very well. (at room temp!)
