The old man was all about work, nothing else mattered. I was working in the shed when I heard a plane hit the Trade Center on 9-11. I wanted to see what happened so I ran to the office to see on tv. The old man was angry "What the H--- are you ding here, get back to work". I said "a plane just hit the Trade Center in New York". He then said: "Get back to work, planes hit buildings all the time, it will be on the news tonight". I watched to 2nd plane hit and told him a plane hit the building next to the first one. He again said "Planes hit buildings all the time".

Became something we would say whenever something went wrong or broke, "planes hit buildings all the time".
