Did you ever see how they built the original Panama Canal? Hardly more than guys with shovels. As far as doing a small job with a big tractor, I sure can think of many that are totally unsuitable for a Caterpillar 6090 FS. Most residential driveways would cave with its 1,000 ton weight.
