If you expect something, it痴 their responsibility. If you demand something, it痴 your responsibility.
Here痴 an example. We have the worst govt education in the civilized world, fact.
We expect our govt to educate our kids, we pay taxes, and when they don稚, it痴 their fault. If we DEMAND they educate our kids, it will require that we follow up, keep on top of things, be involved, turn off the tv, that we invest time and effort into our kids education.
If you demand something it痴 your responsibility to assure it gets done, it痴 on you and, that痴 hard. Much easier to expect.

My mother used to tell me my face "was going to freeze like that" if I kept making faces. Well, I got older and appears she was right.

Funny. Maybe 50 years ago; but I see a lot of Dodge Rams and Ford F250's any more. It did remind me of the time I followed a beat up 1940 Ford with a refrigerator in the back, through the hills of Kentucky for about 10 miles at 20 miles per hour.
