In recent years, I watched that movie for the first time. I was surprised to learn that quote didn't originally come from Blazing Saddles.

I saw that movie the first time in a movie theater. It's always been one of all time favorites; I suppose because I believed Tim Holt was from Oklahoma. Saw him in person just before his death; I believe he is buried in Harrah, Oklahoma.

Okay... true confessions first time... We hopped the back fence of a drive in and 'parked' ourselves next to a speaker post. Did get hassled a bit and told the 'attendant' that our parents kicked us out of the car so they could 'enjoy' the movie. True story... my parents would never do that but they bought it.

The movie? Yeah it was a bit of a game changer for us wannabes. Mel Brooks.

There is a theory that I subscribe too. The world can't tilt to one side for very long before it corrects itself.
