I recall that and people substituted the name of Christ with X as if we Christians were supposed to follow along. Merry CHRISTmas!

Caveat - I'm a Christian who doesn't celebrate Christmas (I have yet to see any scriptural precedent for it).

But the Saint Andrews Cross is an "X", and has at least as much ties to Christ as a tree, presents, or a fat old man with a big white beard.
