What is your favorite "CARRY" tool

I carry this pocket Buck 503 pocket knife all of the time. It gets me started, and if I need more, I round them up from all of my stashes of tools, depending on what job I am going to do. The tractor carries my old motorcycle leather handlebar tool bag for wrenches. The truck carries odds and ends, and now my small wingman leatherman (-first -just got it a month ago). But a knife works just great, When I was putting up cedar shingles, my 110 Buck was great for shaving shingles to fit. -My 503.

When I first read this post's title, I was thinking Glock 36 or Taurus 445C. Further reading brings this photo to mind. My tractor is 35 miles from my home, clearing some property. I am able to keep most anything I need in this tool box, along with a quality pocket knife. There is no way a multi-tool would be helpful to me except for pulling the occasional pin. I have a very good Leatherman tool, but it stays at home and I have never wanted it while at the tractor site.

I would not be without my Leatherman Skeletool or my Glock 33. Take them both everywhere except to the courthouse.

Well, lets see. I've tried carrying tools in my Carharts but not even suspenders can keep them up when my pockets are full. Actually, about the only thing I'd carry is a good pocket knife. If I go into the field and know I'm going to need tools - I have a small tool box that carries the basics. Or I'll carry the specific tools needed for the job. If I take a gun into the field it would be my Winchester 30-30.

I use the Gerber for a box opener and as a workhorse general cutter for stuff I'd rather not use my pocket knife to cut. I try and keep my pocket knife sharp and clean.

I carry a cheep Buck folder clipped to my jeans pocket and a pair of Channel locks, about 3 1/2 in long, in my pocket. Use them for everything.

Same reasoning for me. I cut all to often on things that are hard on blades so I use a folding utility knife. There are days that I am opening bags that will rust that razar blade in about 30 min. Don't want my Leatherman used like that and it takes longer to find the knife on the Leatherman. Usually just use it for the pliers and screwdriver.
