That was a great movie! I'd forgotten about it. Need to find that somewhere. I was a younger man then.

I was backing out my driveway on my way to work one morning, and all of a sudden a large chunk of ice hit the roof of my house. I retrieved the largest portion of it, and it was clear to me that it came from an airplane. It had an imprint where it had been attached to something like a flat piece of metal, and told me it was not a meteorological phenomenon of some kind. I even called the weather station in Norman, and the FAA. Nobody wanted to touch it with a 10 foot pole, especially the FAA. I suspect it would have meant more work for somebody, and they didn't want to mess with it.

They even made a sequel to it. But like most it pales compared to the original.
