That's where you hook up the de-wobbleizer. The burple pump shaft should be on the back side.

You know, there MIGHT have been a cigarette lighter there. We had a Farmall 450 when I was a kid on the farm, and I'm racking my brain to remember the dash layout. It was similar, but not exactly like that.

they list the old allis chalmers CA tractor i have that is early 1950ish. so you might have some luck finding your tractor or something near it perhaps via parts listings?

Cigarette lighter with the grip knob broken off.
actually that's a thought. had a massey TO35 diesel that had a glow plug indicator light on dash. otherwise, if it has a gas engine, look @ pic, has a gauge in that location, the face may be torn off...
