Can some of you fellow Mahindra owners or dealers tell me what this light is for? I have not seen it as best I can remember. I went out to do some cleaning this evening after getting home from work, & after about 5 minutes I noticed it was on. I have thoroughly looked through the manual & can find a picture of it, but no explanation! I have checked all the fluids, it's not running hot or anything, sounds like it alway has. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe it's the water in fuel filter light.

I agree with Bilko. Water in fuel sensor.

Water in the fuel.
If you have a paper element 1st fuel filter like I do, it's likely trash and needs to be replaced. On my machine the moisture sensor is placed at the 2nd filter where it's already too late if the warning comes on.

Looks like it means you've rolled your tractor upside down!

or maybe not so drastic:
"Warning: Instrument cluster installed upside down"?

possibly:
"Fasten seatbelt: Operator is improperly standing on head"?

Hee, hee, I've got a million of them folks.....

It means that it is time to milk your tractor...... As above, a picture of a filter with a drop under it is ' supposed to be ' the universal symbol for having something in the bottom of your fuel filter besides fuel... something that conducts electricity better than fuel... like water. If you are getting water, you have to ask yourself why. Water in fuel happens, but usually from bad fuel, buying fuel from a source that does not have much turnover of stock, bad fueling practices, or what ever. You should strive to never have anything in your tank except clean fresh fuel, especially in the winter. [ kind of dizzy from standing up on this podium, Sorry... ] :)

Thanks for the info guys! I don't know why the picture posted upside down, but I assure you that I was not standing on my head, the old body would never tolerate that!

Don't know why but this board software seems to do that kinda thing with the thumbnails a lot but when you click the thumbnail link the full size image always seems to come out right.

Maybe it is because I took the shot with my phone on it's side instead of holding it upright?

Don't worry about it Mate, when I clicked on your photo the picture displayed 'right side up'.

I'd never seen a symbol like that before and took a guess. I have a (somewhat) clear fuel bowl with a red ring that floats on any water accumulation = no warning light/sensor at all.

To me it looks like it could be low coolant level in the reservoir tank.

Sorry Dk35vince, I called the dealer and they confirmed it is water in the fuel. They told me to unscrew the sensor at the bottom of the separator & drain the water out. All is well now. I do plan on putting a extra seperator with a clear bowl on it so I can see what is really going on. It shouldn't be a needed once I get my 30 gallon reefer tank mounted either in an old motorcycle trailer that I have or on a skid to put in the back of my F350. I will put a filter & separator on it as well just to be on the safe side.
