What is the closest US Model for the Grays

I have checked part #s on the YM2420 against a YM276. The engine numbers are exactly the same. The dash was different and the wiring harness was different. Most of the driveline is the same.
I would expect the YM2310 to be even closer.

The YM 1820 and 1810 are about as close to the 226 as the above is to each other.

The YM 1510 and 186 are a close match. However the front axles are different, the same goes for the YM1401 and the 165.

I am working on YM2610 specs and a YM330. I think a YM2820 will be closer to the YM336.

From what I've seen so far they are never exactly the same. But have features from several different models in common.

Brent, or anyone else, what is the difference between the YM2001(D) and YM2002(D) other than size? Both are apparently 3 cyl., gear drive.

Both use same engine as YM336 & I think FWD.

The two things different I have found so far, are that the YM2002 has a filter on the hydraulic system and it has wet brakes. Some models have a hydraulic cylinder on the 3 point to make it a four way.

A friend on the west coast has a YM3110D, and he uses some YM336D parts. In believe that he used the powersteering from a 336 complete in order to add power steering to his tractor. That is a specialized integral Power Steering, not the hydraulic cylinder in the draglink type.
I know that he put 336 parts in his front axle when he sheared some drive bolts in there...but don't know what parts those were.
I would have thought that the 3110 would have been a larger tractor than the 336, but in some respects it seems to be the same size but with a couple of more HP. Don't know about the engine.

I have a YM2000A. Should this be shown separately in your list or just lumped under the general category of YM2000?

Does your Yanmar have YM2000A with an "A" on it? I hear a lot of people refer to their 2000 "A" model but frnakly I have never seen one. There are "B"s out there, I see them 1700B's, 2000B's even some BD's being the 4WD of course. I think some folks are referring to the regular 2000's as "A" models. I am just wondering if this is something I am missing here in the southeast.

The YM2000 is identical to the YM240 American Yanmar.

Close, actually. Just a couple of minor operational things other than the paint, labels, safety start switch and ROPS. I believe the 240 had only 2 PTO speeds, 540 and 1000 while the 2000 has three. The 240 also has the extra linkage in the throttle so the US operators can PUSH to increase the throttle while their Japanese counter-parts PULL to increase throttle. But I believe these are standard differences between US and Grey models. Does anyone know what the fuse block looks like on the 240? Is it the same setup as the YM-2000...
