What is the closest US Model for the Grays

Here is the Gray(Japanese) model list can anyone fill in what is the nearest US model for each? ie. which US models operation manual would you order? Of course there will be some Grays which have no close US model but that is good to know too.

This is the info. I'm trying to gather. You've seemed to have worded your question better than I did. And you're exactly right, the greys that don't have counterparts, would be very helpful too.

This is just a guess but I don't think there is a close US model for the YM 3810 YM 4220 or for any of the F series.

I'll try to work up a simple list for the US models over the next week and then post it for modifications. I've seen some lists that looked too complex. There weren't all that many US models, and the only model choice was 2wd/4wd.

These are the models I remember, can anyone add to them? I think I have enough literature to flesh this list out with engine, tranny, weights, and tires once I do some reading.

US "YM" model Yanmars: All were available in 2WD or 4WD. 4wd models had the suffix "D". i.e. The 2wd YM155 became the YM155D in 4wd.

Green machines: YM135, 155, 195, 240, and YM330.

The Red Machines: YM140, 147, 165, 180, 186, 187, 220, 226, 276, and YM336.

The 140, 180, and 220 were all manual shift versions of the power shift tractors and I've never actually seen any of those. As far as know, the only US red machine to be sold in any numbers without a power shift was the YM165.

The YM2000 is identical to the YM240 American Yanmar.

Are any of the other YM 20xx (YM 2000,YM 2000BD,YMG 2000D,YM 2001,YM 2001D,YM 2002 (D) ) close to the 240?

The YM240 is identical to the red YM2000's with the exception of the color. The 240 was the familiar Yanmar green. The YM2000 "B" models had a more refined instrument panel and different side panels on the engine, headlight bezel and such. The engine, drive train and other major components were the the same as the 240. The 2001, 2002, and the YMG2000 were all three cilynder diesels so no, they are not at all like the 240.
