What is the ANSI # for JD 303

Hi all,
Wondering what the ANSI # for JD 303 Hyd fluid would be if I was ordering a barrel, AW32-AW46???? Don't seam to find any chart with this listing. Thanks,

I think aw46 is just straight hyd fluid.. like for jacks, or straight hydraulic pump/piston systems.. not for transmissions, and diffy's.

Keep in mind that JD303 ( and hygaurd, and NH M2C134D, HYTRAN, etc) are all universal transdraulic fluids suitable for transmissions, final drives, gear boxes, hydraulic systems including wet brakes and power steering. Lots of companies make "UTF' products... fina calls theirs transdraulic fluid.. another manufacturer calls it tractor fluid.. etc..

You don't want to use plain hyd oil in an application that calls for a UTF. It could get very spendy, very fast.

I was thinking about buying a small drum of Jd 303 from the local oil dealer but after priceing it out , looks like Wall Mart 303 in 5 gallon pails is a better deal. I only change once a year and can't justify a 55 gallon drum of the stuff around. Still be interesting to find out what the ANSI # for this stuff is. I could see that if might end up being JD 303 and no other designation in the end.
