What is Straw Selling for in your Area?

I was looking for bedding straw on the weekend. I wanted 20 4x5 round bales and the best price I could find was $32/bale. Last summer I was paying $8.00 to $10.00 per round bale. Has straw prices gone up in price much in your area?

$3.00 to $4.50 for a small square bale... used mostly for seeding new lawns etc... LOTS of new homes being built.

I look in the local paper, ask neighbors, and ask at the local feed mill. Right now it seems to be in short supply. I hope prices drop a little. Last year I paid $8 per 4'x5' round bale.
