Unless you drive a Tesla. My Y will blow by most cars out of the road when I need to get around someone.
No doubt. But I used "with a vengeance". Hard to impart shock and awe when silently gliding by. :D

As teens, we're taught to drive defensively. Then we get into college athletics and learn the best defense is a good offense. Drive offensively, folks!

This is a small peeve...but a peeve is a peeve! Sunday wife & I went to Home Depot to pickup a blower I ordered and wife noticed an artificial pre lit Christmas tree half price.
We have trees I could cut and a really nice large artificial one (Macy's store display) but a headache putting up, heavy & bulky. This 6.5ft one was $49. I finally got assistance and told they don't have any so I get an assistant manager. I said I'll buy the display and she said it was already sold. Then she says an hour away another Depot shows 17 in stock. I ask if I could simply order one. She said I cannot!
Meanwhile other people looking at it just left after hearing this. Wife buys something and checkout clerk said " you better hurry...they have 7 left! I wrote sku # on paper. Now I'm thinking 2 hour trip plus time in store and probably sold out there also.
At home I go online, search by sku # and order it...$49 free shipping. It said 2 day shipping (yea right I think). This morning we look out and there's a big box on front porch!
So I called manager this afternoon not to complain but two thoughts: any display item that's sold simply staple a "sold" paper on the tag and say "it can be ordered online same price. SKU # 123-4567.
He agreed. I said I'm just trying to help the store since they lost many sales.

Use of the word "super" in front of words. I believe this started about 7 years ago.

Maybe not that new. My first chainsaw was a 1970'ish Homelight Super EZ Automatic.

The heyday of "supersize" orders from McDonalds was late 1980's into the early 1990's. By mid/late 1990's, the health police were already shaming folks out of that trend.

The word super goes back many hundreds of years.

One of my pet peeves is when people still insist on giving me turn-by-turn directions, as if we're living in the 18th century, rather than just the effing coordinates to trick out a glitch in GPS mapping. I don't care that much about where anyone lives, to go back to that.

Dude, it's 2023. It's time to embrace the 1990's technology. :ROFLMAO:
GPS will ALWAYS take you into from the north down a STEEP gravel hill and across a low water bridge that has 4'+ water over it after a good rain. We try to convince people to come from the south if there is inclement weather but every one follows their GPS blindly to save 7 miles. Until they have turn a camper around on narrow gravel road and go 12 miles around to approach from the south.
Sometimes local knowledge is worth listening to....besides many map and GPS apps will turn you into a neighbors drive way and a fence. No cell service so you are on your own, can't call for directions after the fact.
I'm with Eagle1 on this. A GPS can be a handy tool (assuming you have it with you  ), but it's no substitute for good directions, especially in rural areas. Nice to have someone give you landmarks to look out for, and/or just a heads up about blind intersections, etc.

That having been said, when I give directions I'm assuming they can figure out how to get to the nearest town. Once I had someone driving here from Conn. and they were a bit miffed that I didn't give door-to-door directions. 😒

Door buzzers. Yes, I know the keys are in the ignition and don't need to hear that thing going off constantly. I am trying to get into the habit of tossing them onto the dash, but too often I end up dropping them onto the seat.
Yeah, especially annoying for those times when you want to play the radio with the doors open.

Dunno about other vehicles, but on my Jeep they provided a way to turn off the seatbelt alarm, but there's no way to disable the key alarm. If you disconnect the "key in" sensor it won't start.

I bought my first Superduty FORD in 1995. 7.3 L diesel, 5 spd stick, extended cab dually. It was indeed Superduty. (y) Until that idiot pulled out in front of it
