Complaining about me leaving a bath light on. Minutes later I walk down the hall and find our guest bedroom, office, and bath lights on while you are in the kitchen ... with the lights on.
Complaining about me leaving a bath light on while you crank the AC down to zeroº
Gotta love it.

The guy in India, that says he is calling from the USA, while my phone says he is calling from India with a 91 country code. And he doesn't even know the names of the major lakes in Seattle.

And they have Anglo names like Thomas and Robert or a very persistant one that insisted in telling me he was Mr. Wilson. He called about 3 times a week for a month. I'd be more likely (not) to believe them if they used their real names. We have lots of people from that part of world here in Kanuckistan and it wouldn't be much of a reach.

I find it amusing that 24 pages in, we're still responding to a thread that any 7-year old with reasonable English comprehension would recognize as an improperly formed subject. C'mon folks... it's "what are some of your pet peeves", not "what is some of your pet peeves".

Talk about pet peeves, every grammar school teacher coming across this thread must be shaking their head at us. :p
I totally understand your irritation. And then folks make fun of you for being irritated about people posting stuff with incorrect grammar and/or bad spelling. Almost like it is a badge of honor to be unable or unwilling or just too lazy to spell properly or to use proper grammar. I'm a retired machinist, not any kind of teacher, and still I can spell correctly, use spell check when unsure, and find that using proper grammar is not hard to do. I like to be able to write stuff that others don't need to decipher, so I do.

Dyslexia is something, you fight all your life. Yet, the corrective people, do very little and say very little. Embrace dyslexia. :)
