What is some of your Pet Peeve's

Think it was my High School Gym teacher who said profanity proved a limit vocabulary. As I grew understood it more and more.

I have heard the opposite... although not necessarily somebody who can't say 3 words without 2 of them starting with "F".

I find it really uncomfortable when someone starts to say something unpleasant about another person. All i'm thinking is "why me?" This happens to me a lot.

I find it amusing that 24 pages in, we're still responding to a thread that any 7-year old with reasonable English comprehension would recognize as an improperly formed subject. C'mon folks... it's "what are some of your pet peeves", not "what is some of your pet peeves".

Talk about pet peeves, every grammar school teacher coming across this thread must be shaking their head at us.

My place is on the rural side of the welland canal. I can see the big city lights on the other side. !5 minutes or less to shopping but still among the orchards and vineyards.
I'm tired of people coming out and dumping garbage. If I did it on their front lawn they'd freak and I'dd be charged.
They come here to save a couple bucks dump charge. Who's gonna see at the end of that dead end road.
I've had living room sets, shingles, an entire shed, used lumber and just general garbage.
All these environmentally conscious people think nothing of dumping their junk anywhere but where it should go.
And don't get me going on fast food containers. They can't keep it in their car until they get home?
So much ammo and I'd be the one in trouble. I'd only be getting rid of the REAL GARBAGE.

I live in a farming area and the only people throwing trash out the car windows are the illegals.
Our security cameras tell the story. Fast food lunch bags and corona bottles, Im so tired of it, I pick them up everyday...

My other pet peeve is when you meet someone and in 2 minutes they are telling you everything about their life and how honest they are....

@masseyrider you've got to put in trail cameras; used to have a real problem with people dropping off tires and whatnot on this road. From what I understand one of my neighbors put up some cameras, and was able to report the person. A sign went up in the area proclaiming the victory, and it's been a lot less of an issue since.

My missus is one of those folks that strangers dump out their purse to, it drives her nuts because she is not a people person.
