Don't cha love it when people think flipping burgers should support a family of 4? Then they complain that a burger cost $18.00.
Yeah, I agree.
It may sound cruel but I got a trade when I was 17-18 so I could support my family in later years. I'm sorry but flipping burgers does not require an investment of time nor money for tools of any trade.
Life, to me anyway, is like an investment...you put something in to hopefully get something more out later. People no doubt will argue but that's my thoughts on the matter.

I'm sitting on a $35,000 investment in tools. That's not counting the occasional replacement of a cordless tool, battery, drill bits, extractors, etc....

And that was an investment so I could support my family.

I flipped burgers in highschool. I considered that an entry level job for gas and spending money while in school. I sure didn't consider that a career to raise a family.

Bussed tables and washed dishes in a restaraunt after highschool for a bit. That was the same thing. It gave me spending money till I was able to find a better job to increase my earning potential.

It was just a stepping stone until I found something better.

Once I landed a job that had a good career potential as well as benefits, I stuck with it.

I didn't get that $35,000 in tools all at once either. I started off with a cheap basic set of tools and added to it as well as upgraded as I went along.

I haven’t seen that behavior from any of mine, and I’ve owned quite a few uConnect 8.4 vehicles. Maybe it was a unique to a given firmware version? What years were these vehicles?
The Jeeps were '20 Trackhawks and the Challenger a '21 SXT GT AWD.

No idea what version those were, but thankfully the '18 and '19 Challengers and the '21 TRXs work as they should.

Plenty gun shy I even tried to verify that the '23 Durango wouldn't have that issue before ordering one. Won't know for sure until it gets to the dealer.

Cheap Chinese hardware. You know the free stuff you get to assemble or install something that is so cheap the screwdriver deforms it or shears it off !

That's not bad. I pay roughly that in combined yearly leases on my design and business software. Outright purchase would be more than double that, plus a yearly maintenance fee of 15% purchase price.

It does give you some incentive to push forward every day, knowing what that lease works out to in "per day" cost.

Weird. I'll have to check my wife's Durango R/T, as that's also a 2020. My Ram and SRT Charger are a bit earlier, 2015 and 2016 respectively. Like I said, I don't think the Ram even has performance pages, but I know the 2016 SRT Charger does NOT have this problem.

Getting a person with a thick accent on the phone 📞 and asking them if there is someone who speaks better English because I have a hearing issue and they just start talking slower. ….so I hang up!👍🏻

I could be mistaken but that neither of you had a kid or two you were supporting before you turned 20. That has kept a lot of people from getting ahead when they were starting out.

I try to correct that when I do it, but proofreading is something I am just learning to do.
I almost always proofread before I post. At least 99% of the time. I do this because I hate it when I use improper grammar or spell stuff incorrectly. And whenever I am posting a complaint or something negative I ALWAYS proofread before I make the post. If I am angry I also wait at least several hours or overnight before making the post. Lots of the time just writing what I am angry about without posting anything is enough. Not posting stuff and waiting to post stuff has saved me a ton of grief.

TSC got me into the store once because I didn't notice that the sale started a week after the flyer came out. I didn't even realize it until I tried to pay.
I've run into the opposite at Ocean State Job Lots. Their sales run Wed-Tues, but half the time I don't even get the flyers until Mon or Tues so by the time you get the chance to get to the store it's last week's ad.
I ended up with a Brother Laser printer/scanner that works like a top and will take any toner cartridge you put in it. HP never again for anything, they can take a flying..... at a rolling donut.
My only complaint with HP printers is that they don't always provide updated drivers for newer operating systems. Had to toss a perfectly good Laserjet once because it wouldn't work on anything newer than Windows 98.

Brother ones seem to be OK, at least the one we have now is. I tend to use it more for a scanner than a printer.
I long ago gave up on inkjet printers. Don't need to print anything in color, and it seems with most inkjets if one color is low/out it won't print anything. Went laser & never looked back. Cost per page is much less too.

Saw one of these the other day... And my first thought was, "Why would anyone design a tail light that sticks out like this on a vehicle meant to be driven in thickets?" At least put a guard or something in front of the light pods.. Overall it looks like an interesting design, but then you see these rear light pods.. What were they thinking? These Gladiators cost $$$$$. Bad design is a pet peeve. :)
