Deceptive Sale ads - You know the one that says Tractor Supply big sale 50% off - then the details show it's on kitchen aprons only !
Or big shoe sale. Up to 50% off.. yeah if you like oxford loafers....
TSC got me into the store once because I didn't notice that the sale started a week after the flyer came out. I didn't even realize it until I tried to pay.

I don't recall what it was I wanted but I didn't go back the following week.

So three years ago I bought an HP Inkjet
I swore never again to buy an HP anything. I had a HP scanner/printer, it worked good, which I didn't use that much but eventually the ink ran out/dried up. I bought a couple of refilled cartridges from Staples I think it was. Put them in and got the error message about not being real HP cartridges, 'duhh, 'ya think'. You can get by it by going thru a whole reset procedure every time you printed which was a real pia but I refused to pay the price for 'real' HP cartridges and I didn't print a lot anyway.
I upgraded to a Windows 10 machine and that brought a whole 'nuther bunch of problems for the scanner. The eventual final death of the machine was caused by me trying to scan something and it wouldn't do Jack s**t. Long story short, I literally put my fist down thru the top, ripped the cord out and heaved it into the driveway.
Daughter came over a day later and I was out on the deck, printer still sitting there in the driveway, top all caved in. In a normal, inquisitive voice her comment, "Printer not working" and walked right by into the house.
I ended up with a Brother Laser printer/scanner that works like a top and will take any toner cartridge you put in it. HP never again for anything, they can take a flying..... at a rolling donut.

Yeah, "new, improved, concentrated, use 25% less than before" Then you look at the size, it's 25% smaller for 5% more money.

Bought a large package of gum at Costco, (yeah, I'm a re-incarnated beaver LOL) used to be I think 24 packs of gum, it's now 21 in the same size large package.
Not to mention that the individual blister packs of the gum have one less:

Free. Nothing is free. It might be included in the price they quoted, but it ain't free.
"Free shipping", shipping is not free, ask the shipper. Maybe its include in the price, but it ain't free. As I type this, I look up the tv and there is a sign " free food" when you purchase.....

This is a big peeve of mine, I would like to see touch screens banned. Driving should be intuitive... touch screens are doing away with that. They give off so much light that they reflect off the window, preventing you from seeing while backing up.
Touch screens are great for offering functionality that just can’t be replicated with a reasonable number of knobs and buttons, but they should NEVER be allowed to be the only source of input for critical functions while driving. I think there has already been legislation proposed to this effect, but it was awhile back and I’ve seen no outcome from it, so I guess it died along it’s path.

Touch screens should be reserved for setting up your phone contacts, programming car personality, setting radio presets, etc. But anything you’re going to want or need to adjust while driving should be duplicated on the dash or steering column as a tactile button or knob, old-skool.

IMO, Ram has found nearly the perfect mix of knobs and touchscreen. Everything you can imagine is accessible through the touch screen, but nearly every function I’d ever want or need while driving down the road is duplicated as a button or knob that I can find in the dark without taking my eyes off the road. The Durango has that to a lesser degree, and my Charger is the worst of the group in this regard, as each shrinking in available dash space forced them to give up more buttons.

Excessive use of ambiguous acronyms (EUoAA)
Text abbreviations.

They even do it in article titles now.

Apparently people are getting too lazy to right something out even though they have key boards

Our throwaway society. I admit I’m part of it but it’s mainly appliances and electronics I’m talking about. Every time I do get something fixed it usually ends badly and cost more than just buying a new one.

If I can't figure out someone's acronym in about 1sec, then MGU, (message goes unread). You're all lucky I gave a definition of my wonderful acronym, so you didn't have to waste time figuring, then asking, then going back and reading again, then realizing the message was worthless.

I don't try to figure it out. I simply ignore it and don't respond back
