What is some of your Pet Peeve's

The words "like" and "you know", used in every sentence during a conversation..... my usual response is "no, I don't know " ..... then get a strange look back....

Another is saying "ummm", or "ahhhh" in between every sentence.
I was once taking an online college course and had to watch a video from the instructor. It was within the first 5 minutes that I realized that I would not be able to watch it except to do one thing..... count the number of times she said "ummmm" and "ahhh"......

I just went and retrieved the email that I sent to the dept. chair...... She said "ahhh" 182 times, and "ummm" 216 times. I swear every other word was followed by one of those sounds....

She was fired from the teaching position about 3 weeks later.....

I once tried to read a book by a popular author. I don't recall what it was but the run-on sentences, punctuation and grammar were all terrible. The only way that I could read it was to go over a page with a red pencil and make it readable. After about a chapter I gave up. I may not be a perfect writer, but I also am not an allegedly accomplished novelist.

You should try reading my wife's texts after someone really pi$$ed her off and venting

No punctuation when she's mad. And good luck deciphering it if she is relaying a conversation

I usually reply with "you can call me when you get a second"

Same thing. Posts that have none of those, no periods, commas, capitals.... nuttin' . I cannot read them at all and don't even try.

Pet peeve - TV/radio weather forecasts that throw in the word 'Your' before the day of the week. "It'll be warm and sunny for your Tuesday. And for your Wednesday, showers likely".
