Another pet peeve is when stores, like Tractor Supply, Big R (RIP) or Runnings rearrange the locations of some sections. So you walk to the far end of the store where welding supplies have always been, only to find they moved that to the opposite end of the store next to children's clothing.

Walmart does the same same about every 3 years. They do it thinking you'll have to go through every aisle to find what you want and expect you to see other items hoping you will impulse buy.

And they separate things that need to be used together.

Costco is the master at relocating merchandise. Sometimes I look several times for a favorite and didn't find it, but my wife does. One of theses days I'll decide they are no longer worth the membership cost, because I can't find anything I want, even though the stuff is probably just one isle over.
These marketing geniuses need to do something useful for a change.

The local Rural King was doing that with softener salt. They must have changed the location of that stuff at least 4 times! I shop for it on a 30 minute lunch so it was making me late to get back. I finally quit buying it there just because of that.

Menards a home improvement store does the store credit gimmick, they entice you with a 11% off deal ... Then give it to you in a store credit!

Just take the stinking 11% off at the register, because I'm not coming back here again!
For some reason the Menards 11% back doesn't bother me. Probably because my wife handles the rebate forms.

I do hate the grocery store model of membership pricing. They advertise a price and in very small print, (members price). When that happens, I quit shopping there.

I hate in the local Kanuckistan Tire you have to walk back and forth 3 times in the aisles in front of the registers to get to a cashier.
The shelves are stocked with every candy item and useless thing possible.
I will drive further to avoid the ones doing this.
I came to the store for an oil filter, tool, garden supply, not some sweet to rot my teeth out.

Menards is the closest home center to me. Overall I like them and their regular prices before rebate are usually as good or better than other places. I wouldn't bother with the rebates but my wife seems to enjoy playing the game so I give her all the receipts and she sends them in.

My biggest peeve with Menards is how they move things around for seasonal stuff - especially Xmas crap. Something I've learned to do with Menards and Walmart is to have their website up on my phone when I'm shopping. I can search for the item and it'll tell me what aisle it's in. But that doesn't work when Menards has replaced a dozen aisles with seasonal garbage but hasn't updated their website.

Considering the advent of the first below zero temps this "winter" here is one of mine.

The use of the word "negative" with Temperature. Temperature is a measure of how much heat there is. Negative means you owe something, or have overdrawn it. It's possible to have NO temperature (aka 0° Kelvin), but you can't have negative temperature.

Below Zero is the only acceptable term in my book, although I won't cringe too hard if someone says Minus.
