What is some of your Pet Peeve's

Growing up my parents collected antique clocks. So a few Grandfather clocks, lots of wall and mantle clocks. Dad would oil & wind then keeping them running. Most had Westminster chimes...every 15 minutes then a chime on the hour...except for the coo-coo clocks which I fantasized strangling those dam birds.
I have one of those cuckoo clocks but it's long past salvaging. :(

I'm frankly surprised to learn there's anyone under age 80 who doesn't!

I've had one form or another of small charging cradle or stand for my phone on my nightstand since at least 2010... maybe earlier. No need to muck up the room with another usless and annoying appliance, the phone is always with me. :p
I'm well under 80 and ditched my cell phone in 2007 and never ever want one again... Infernal things bother you all hours, can't even take a nap in the woods 😳

They all have a Do Not Disturb setting now.
Can set daily or whenever you want peace.

With an Ailing Uncle and a son away at college, having a phone is great.
Also when working by myself if I smack myself silly it's quite useful to call for help.

No cell service out here... I'd have to crawl a few miles to get service if I'm not in Wifi range. My last cell never left airplane mode unless I wanted to use it.

Bad memories of being on call 7x24 for 20 years.

Car horns.
They're supposed to be in the center of the steering wheel.
But there is a hidden blowup balloon there now.
I know the world decided that bag needs to be there for safety.

But in a panic situation, the heel of my hand automatically hits the center of the steering wheel to wakeup some distracted driver and nothing happens. All I can hear is my own voice advising that other driver.

The horn on my '83 Ranger was activated by pushing the turn signal stem in. I believe that also was the stem which dimmed the lights.
