Price Check What is a good price on a Grand L series?

Love my bx, but we are beginning to look at larger places, possibly a small horse farm. Won't be doing it any time soon, but, if we do, figure I might need a little larger tractor. Would like to keep the bx for smaler projects, though.

Like the 5030, HST, 4WD, Optional mid PTO. However, am willing to take a look at any and all models.

I don't know if anyone has the list prices on the Grand L's posted yet for the 2007 models; anyhow once you get the list price of your choice, and get it discounted by 10% is a fair deal. The best bargaining chips I've found are the mark-ups on the FEL and tires. If you get a 2006 model you may get even a better deal? Try Carvers Tractors who advertises on this forum and lists the prices of his tractors for sale. It will give you a starting point on cost and options. Good luck!

My dealer finally called that the 4inone bucket and the 3 point to quick attach has arrived and to come pick it up. Of cource this week I am on business travel and will not be able to get there before saturday but will pick it up then and see how it works out. Looking forward to test this out because this will allow mounting the big balllast box in the rear and get more stability when using the FEL on the wet clay soil aroung here.

I bought a Grand L 5030 HST, no loader, no cab, no mid PTO, no remotes, in late 2006 for $22,000 here in Mid-Michigan.

I just bought the first L5740 HST 4WD at Rogers Outdoor Equipment in Piedmont, SC for $24,000. Awesome machine.

For the next month or so, Kubota has a $750 rebate on the Grand L for financed tractors, $1500 for cash purchases. That's on 2006 models. One thing I noticed about the 2007's is that they have moved the joystick for the loader back where JD and NH have them, beside the operator. That being said, I got a 2006, 4wd L3130 with tooth bar and the skid steer qa bucket for $17,250 before rebate this past Friday.

Engine net HP = 57
PTO HP = 50

No loader, I have a NH LS170 skid steer for loader work.
