What is a bog disc?

I am looking for a small set of discs and have found a set the guy calls a bog disc. What is the difference between a bog disc and a garden discs? I haven't yet went to the dudes house to look at them but the pics he sent look like there is only one row of discs instead of two. Confused...

Bog discs are primary tillage implements used to cultivate land that hasn't been worked with a plow and has heavy sod and/or soft, wet areas. Offset discs (two axles in a V-configuration) are sometimes called bog discs since they are designed for primary tillage.

What you call garden discs generally have two rows of pans (the discs) in a symmetric X-configuration and are considered secondary tillage implements used on previously plowed ground to bust up the clods and fill in the furrows. They are commonly called tandem discs.
