bidens "build back better" plan, diesel price up over $1/gal in last 6 days

Let's no go politcal here. First of all there is no "build back better", no bill was ever voted on. And blaming any US president for global fuel shortages or demand spikes is pretty asinine anyway. The US does not control petroleum pricing.

I remember paying $5 for diesel in Bush's last year also. Adjusted for inflation, that would be over $6.50 today.

Diesel here is around 4.89 to 4.99 right now. Cant imagine 6.29.

5.19 gal in west TN. Insane!

I have been seeing tomato plants selling for 5 dollars a plant. I am glad I still have some local greenhouses to go to buy my tomato plants.

Dang! And we were going to put these out in the field to grow tomatoes to sell on our roadside stand. Maybe we should just sell the plants...

Almost paid $300/each for pickup truck tires today.

And not 22" mudders or anything like that, just 245/17" all-season.

Fortunately was able to find a set in another decent brand for less. They better last a while!!

When I stop to realize that I'm sitting here in a comfortable office chair, in a warm house, with broadband Internet, TV, and plenty to eat, that I'm not dodging missiles, drones, tanks, and artillery shells, somehow dealing with inflation doesn't seem quite so tough...
