The FEL on my 955 with air filled rears, 2WD, and only 300lbs on the 3pt. is just about worthless for digging. :laughing:
I'm in the process of making myself a new weight box.... I'm shooting for about 700lbs. I'm also working on my MFWD, so that is not operational at the moment. I just wanted to see what it was capable of and I found out that trying to dig in well established Kentucky 31 fescue, with no toothbar and the above parameters, I could not even make it a bucket length before the rears lost traction.
I'm actually looking for a toothbar and that leads me to another issue. I have had no luck getting a hold of Gator Attachments. Does anyone know if they are still in business? Another one I was looking at is from Iowa Farm Equipment. Any others I should consider looking at?
