The rear finish mower [RFM] is pretty quiet in the cab of my 3039R, but I started hearing an occasional tic-tic-tic. Then it got faster and louder. I wondered why that heavy duty Frontier GM4072 RFM didn't spit out pieces of a stick or what ever was stuck under there.
I discovered there was nothing stuck under there. The center hub bearing blew out and the hub was toast also.
That was a $600 lesson.
