What happened to CK25?

A dealer quoted me $13,500 for a CK 25 gear with FEL and 60" box scraper. So, I went to Kioti website to check the spec. But CK lineup jumps from 20 to 27, no more 25. Is CK25 no longer in production? I'd like like to know if CK25 is basically a reduced hp version of CK27 which I have the spec for. Any input?

I believe the only difference in the CK25 and CK27 is the extra couple hp and the CK25 is no longer in production. I don't know when the last 25s were produced or what was done to get the extra hp.

If dealer is trying to sell me a non-production model, I feel I should get some hefty discount especially at this economy. Since I don't know the MSRP of the CK25 gear (w/ FEL), I don't know if the quote is good or not...

The CK25 and 27 are the same tractor with different engines. The 25 is no longer made, it has been replaced with the 27. The 27 obviously has 2 more HP, and it also meets the newest emission requirements, that the 25 apparently did not.

All of the KIOTI (Daedong) engones were re-certified and updated 2007/2008 for the CRAB and EPA emissions standards. The 25hp CK25 became the CK27, which is 28 hp, during the update. Since soot emissions is the hardest part of the standard to meet, the additional horsepower of the new CK27 helped with the sooting of the engine.
