Man, I feel for you having to move. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif That's no fun.

Bird is around.

He was just giving input on whether a full size pick up bed will hold a full cord of wood over on CBN.

Yep, I'm still around, but just barely. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Had to go to West Virginia for a week when my wife's mother passed away, got back a week ago yesterday in time to close on the purchase of a house the next morning, then started moving stuff and notifying all the utility, insurance, credit card, etc. companies, actually completed the "move" Tuesday, but had to buy a few "necessities", like a bigger air-compressor, a vise, a bench grinder, some shelving, and a refrigerator for my little shop building, not to mention the refrigerator my wife got for the kitchen and the extra bedroom suite we bought today. And I just now came in to take a break after building a new workbench with some lumber I bought yesterday. Whew!!! I'm tired!!! And haven't had much time to get on the Internet, although I did get this new DSL service working Tuesday night. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

BIRD : YOU AIN'T in the way of that storm are you?

Nope, Frank, the current forecast calls for the hurricane to go so far east of us that we only have a 20-30% chance of any rain, which we really need.

So, the question has to be asked... were you ever this consistently busy before you retired? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

If I ever was, David, I don't remember it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif All I did yesterday was go to the nursing home to visit my mother a few minutes, to Wal-mart for a lawnmover gas can, bleach, and gasoline, to Lowe's for screws for the workbench, to the Post Office and Social Security Administration office, to the furniture store to buy the bedroom suite, then up in the attic to put bleach in the condensation drain (preventive maintenance), assembled the bedframe and headboard, and mounted the mirror on the dresser for the new bedroom suite, broke down empty boxes to stack the cardboard, and built an 8' x 26" workbench with 5/8" particle board, 2 x 4s, and landscape timbers for legs. It was only 98 degrees and I only dropped the edge of the particle board on a toe once. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I don't remember how people manage a move if they have a job to go to also. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
