What finish mower should I purchase?

I have a Kubota L3010. I mow with a Landpride FDR 2572(flat deck,rear discharge,Hd,72"). Bought it new 5yrs. ago for around $1900.00 . So far I have been very pleased with it's performance. I mow about 4 acres per week ,so far it has been very reliable. Blade replacement has been the only parts replaced. Construction is first class,it weighs 675#. Would not hesitate to buy another.

My dad has a 5' woods and has had it for years, he hasn't had to do a thing to it. He came across a fella in need of some cash that had a 5' king kutter and got it cheap. As far as we are conserned that is exactly what it is (cheap) nothing compared to the woods.

I am looking at a 2006 WOODS HERITAGE RDC54 FINISH MOWER. What can you guys tell me about this thing is $750 to much? He says it has a few dings from mowing??? Rocks? Any help is great!

I also got extra lucky and the dealer I purchased it from matched another dealer and I was able to get it in KUBOTA orange the other dealer wanted an additional $75 for this feature. The mower is plenty heavy enough and did a fantastic job. I chose Land PRide because of the number of local dealers I have avilable for support.

where are you located? I got a price from the guy i bought my tractor from for a 1660 Patroit and he wanted $1770!... sounds like you got a **** of a deal

Well i just called him back today (5/8/07) and the price has gone up since Jan to $1921.00... thats with the optional front wheel and ordered in JD Green. This is for the LP 1660

Hi Guys,

I have a Woods RD 6000 mower in good shape that I picked up with a tractor I bought that I'm looking to sell. What might be a fair price to ask for it? Don't know the year but it's in nice shape, has a slip collar PTO shaft and chain deflectors on the back. I expec the blades might need to be sharpened or replaced.

I don't want to ask too much and price myself out of the market but I don't want to give it away either.

Thanks for any input you can add.
