What features or improvements do you wish your Kioti had?

Supplying an OEM key with a rubber boot would be pennies well spent by Kioti/Daedong. Plowing during a snow storm (snow melts on the key and runs down the shaft into the ignition switch) almost always guarantees a froze up ignition switch next time out. I keep a hair dryer plugged in (covered storage) next to the tractor for thawing the ignition switch.

Regarding the emergency flashers on a 2005 CK30, I fashioned a collar out of a small piece of PVC to 'lock' the switch in the 'on' position. Otherwise, every time I look down, my knee has bumped the switch to the off position.

The factory should take a long, hard look at who their customer is for CUTS. As such, Kioti should offer a 3rd function option for every tractor they make. It is a value add and easy to make happen with the weight of the factory. I've had two Kioti dealers tell me that they'd install a factory 3rd function on every tractor they have on the lot. The NX antenna is on the B pillar, not on the roof. In no particular order, options i would have purchased out of the gate had they been available: Grill guard inserts. Chainsaw holder should be made available for most models. As should a tool box. Up-rate steering guards should be made available. Kioti offers steering guards, but needs to redesign them so they work better from underside damage. Skid plates for the under carriage would be wonderful on CUTs with our limited ground clearance. An up-rated lighting package should be made available. As should air suspension seats. Better cab moldings for holding things. I like the control layout, I just wish the bubble-holes were better at holding things. Curtesy light on cab models. The fenders that are available in Europe: bring them over to the USA. Why is getting fenders on a tractor so very, very, hard? Make your dealers stock some parts. I'm getting nickeled and dimed on shipping. For Russia, Canadian, Minnesota, and anywhere else it gets cold: an optional cold weather package on premium models beyond a fuel filter heater. We have frost down to 47" right now and it has been a mild winter. Mild. Winter.

Couldn't agree more about the 3rd function Eric. Now that I'm slightly more knowledgable about tractors in general, a third option is a must for anything in the 35+hp CUT market, even my stripped down DS3510. Hindsight being what it is, I'd definitely pay the extra couple of bucks to have it as a factory option.

Some of the other points of interest mentioned were the toolbox and working lights. These are really basic, yet highly important things that should be considered when designing tractors, and be sold as accessories to end users. It would save me time trying to figure out where to mount these things. That alone would make it worthwhile to me as an option, whether it's at time of sale or down the road.

Only a few years ago Ford was surprised to learn that 30% of people buying basic pickup trucks would also buy high content, expensive-trim models with options comparable with a Mercedes e-class. Now look at what has happened in the industry: OEMs are viewed as a backwater if they don't offer heated steering wheels and air conditioned seats all the way round.

This realization has all but destroyed aftermarket segments like car audio/multimedia, while bolstering auto manufacturer's bottom lines. Not that it's a bad thing, just surprised it took so long for them to figure it out. Tractors are not quite automobiles, function must take place over form, so these natural improvements and progressions to the CUT segment may take a little longer.

Additionally, we need electrical parts that are more weatherproof like switches? , turn signals etc? All are suspect at best. And transmissions that don't squeal when in use. Other less important things like my fuel gauge hasn't worked since had it but I may try to get it fixed but it will cost 150 to get it fixed? Also a better network? They never know what to do without a call to Kioti.

There is a fix for the whine in the transmission,Coyote machine posted it.My dealer fixed mine for free.

Speaking of: like front fenders, why can't we simply buy either the wiring for a beacon, or an entire beacon light kit here in the USA?
