Yep. I've got a chevy straight six in it right now and a fiberglass body waiting to be put on it. I might switch to a chevy V8, but then I'd have to do drive shaft modifications and that could take another 15 years /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

Pierre Cardin, my brother had a 74 with 360 and bought a parts car with that interior in it, the javelin amx's never caught my fancy.
My friend has a '69 390, he was born in 1969 his dad used to own an AMC dealership but got out when Renualt became a part of the picture.
I was born in 1970 but dont like the minor 1970 body changes. between 1968 and 1970 there were only 16,000 2-seat AMXs made.

Oh oh oh!!! One of the 63 or 64's with a 413 max wedge, or the 383 with the exotic long cross ram induction system! '64 was the time for the 426 motors too!
