What does this lever do on a YM1700?

Look to the left of the left lift arm. There is a short spring loaded lever with a black knob on it that cams back and forth in the bracket. What is this for?

I really like your hammer holder!

I believe that rod changes the geometry of the three point lift so that it will have more/less movement. The US version manual says to only use the upper hole/slot.

Thanks Aaron! I will check the operation out on it this weekend. Hammer hanger was an inspiration that I had when the Ubolt was laying beside the hammer on my work bench. I put 2+2 together and Whoalla.... Yammer Hammer! I am still working on finding a place to put the top link when not in use. I either bungee it to the back of the seat or let it hang now. I did have a 7/8 all thread that I cut/drilled a pin hole for but not sure where to mount it.

I used to have a skeeter bass boat with a dual prop Yamaha 150 motor and called it the Yammer Hammer. I guess I can roll that over to the Yammer I now have. LOL

I think that is the draught control.

I believe that it either stops the hydraulic arms from "bumping" up [eg jumping over roots when ploughing] or limits how far the arms will drop [how deep you can plough].

If you find out how it should be adjusted please let me know.

My YM2000 is very similar and I haven't been able to get the relevant info.

Your 1700 looks like new mate. Very nice.

Well, I was in the garden for over an hour last night and totally forgot to check and see what the lever did. I was concentrating on the yellow jackets nest that they have made inside my archery target next to the garden. I got stung 4 times on the hand before I knew they were in it.

I hate Yellow Jackets. They are like dive bombers! I will get back out there in the next few days and update.
