Welcome to TBN! Looks to be about 6 Ft, 3 Pt hitch. Assuming nothing is broken or cracked I would say somewhere in the $250 range give or take would be a pretty fair price. Good luck!

That is an angle iron frame Disc Harrow with smooth, rather than notched pans. It will not accomplish any soil mixing/leveling in a field. It MIGHT be OK for use in a kitchen garden.

Angle iron frames do not provide enough weight. Smooth pans roll over the soil. Notched pans cut/chop the soil and crop residue.

I would not pay over $20.

What task do you wish to accomplish?

$200 is tops. I paid double for a nice 6-1/2' Blanton Model 500 that does a really good job.

Yeah I think I agree with everyone here and wanted some validation. I am looking for a medium duty 6' set for food plot development on 100 acres in 1-2 acre sections. The ground is reclaim and rocky, definitely looking for notch first row and maybe smooth second row. I have not looked in person but a friend of a friend listed these for, hold your hats, $600!! I said well I might use those for along trail sides with weights on top, I could offer 150. They seemed offended, but have never used an implement and think they have a gold mine apparently. I always see folks saying don't buy the angle built sets, I agree. If I could get it for 150 I would use in the soft area on trail sides for clover and cover seeding. They came back and said ok maybe 400, I said well here are examples of good ones, I think they will be sitting on them a while.

The main weight of Disc Harrows is the pans. Secondary weight is the frame.
It takes 22" diameter pans before a Disc Harrow has enough weight to perform PRIMARY TILLAGE such as food plots. 24" pans better. Your 2-WD tractor should be able to pull either 22" or 24" pans in a Disc Harrow. You will want 9" pan spacing on the front gang, either 9" or 7-1/2" spacing on the rear gang.

JD2010 is 5,000+ pounds.

A "LIFT" Chain Harrow with 1/2" diameter mat material, which is heavy, will scratch up soil surfaces enough for good food plot germination. You will need a lift frame, so you can drop collected debris. Not bothered by rocks. Scalp/mow first.

Also consider a spring-protected Field Cultivator if your soil is not too rocky. I pull one through sandy-loam woods soil frequently. However, it will not cut into unplowed, animal-packed, hard pasture.

Jeff thanks for the ideas and links. I have considered chain harrows, so you made me think a bit more on that. Never considered a field cultivator, I wish I knew how it work work here, the ground here is more sandstone than dirt in places. I also have a Kubota L35 4WD, I think I will be using that in places also. Thanks for the info on pan size, I was not aware of how to size them to the tractor or the usage.

Width of a Disc Harrow is immaterial, except relative to time. Pan diameter is EVERYTHING.

Angle Iron frame Disc Harrows are usually NOT adjustable.

Field Cultivators are pretty tough. The "points" are easily replaceable.
